Mr Mark Singh and the whole team provided a wonderful amount of care and concern when I had my right ear removed at Bristol Royal Infirmary ( due to Basal Cell Cancer ). From the first diagnosis by Mr Singh right through the operation itself and aftercare I could not have asked for more. Anything I wanted to know was explained carefully and in addition there was always someone at the end of the phone. All I can do is to thank Me Singh and all team for all their kindness.all Yours truly Alistair Williams.

I was referred to Mr Singh by my dentist. I was very anxious but he made the whole experience manageable. From the first consultation I trusted him. He was kind, compassionate, clearly very knowledgeable and made me feel at ease. From the initial consultation through the surgery and the follow up he remained amazing. Anyone who is under is his care are very fortunate. I feel very grateful to Mr Singh and his team.

I cannot speak any higher of Dr Singh what an amazing man he was so lovely and friendly. It was so very very lovely to actually deal with a doctor who spent the time explaining what he was going to do how he was going to do it and to include all of us in the conversation. Me, mum and my dad “patient”. And making sure dad understood what he wanted to do. My father had a very bad SCC on the top of his head, which all the relevant care workers didn’t think was a problem so it just got bigger and bigger. My father was in so much pain it was soul destroying to see him like this, he couldn’t function at all. You couldn’t touch his head as he would just scream and cry and that’s not like my dad as he’s quite a brave man for an oldie. He basically couldn’t do anything so affected his waking so he was basically just sat in the chair all day. He also become very depressed and very muddled. Thank god my dad was assigned to Dr Singh he was definitely a breath of fresh air and gave us all hope that he could cut this tumour out and get it all healed. Well Its been a few weeks now and what can I say “it’s amazing” what has been achieved dad had his operation, home same day - so tumour was removed. Dr Singh put a special type of silicone in the wound to help promote skin growth - well I know it’s more technical than that but it dones the job. Me and mum were really worried on what the wound was going to look like once the dressing was removed. Couple of weeks later, dressing removed and wound was perfect, healing nicely I can’t really explain what it looked like me and mum had to hold back the tears it was such a nice neat repair and Dr Singh explained exactly what he had done and he was so excited to see such a good outcome. Then around two to three weeks later second operation for a skin graft to cover wound, again home same day. Dad is going to the hospital twice a week to get it dressed by the specialist nurse “sorry can’t remember her name” , but she is so careful with dad. He has to have the wound dressed for a couple of more weeks, then hopefully he can start living life again. Since the first operation he has more or less been pain free and he is now walking a little bit each day and slowly increasing the walking, he is so much back to him old self and he is no way so muddled - I believe that he was in so much pain that he was just got so muddled and everything was so much effort for him. The last few visits back to the hospital dad has insisted that he walks with his sticks, basically for months he was being pushed around in a wheelchair. Dr Singh - my family and myself cannot thank you enough for what you have done for my dad, I just cannot put into words how very very grateful we are, your a young doctor with an amazing future, we all wish you the very best in your amazing career. You will continue to amaze your patents and their families with your care and attention and amazing operations. I think I had said enough, but if any one wishes to get in touch Ism happy to answer any questions etc.
